The Savino Group is a network of highly talented professionals led by Lauren Savino. Through partnerships, We work exclusively in the alternative investment industry. Each consultant has deep experience working with hedge fund, private equity, and private real estate managers.
Our goal is to offer customized proposals that lead to long term partnerships and generate positive returns on investment for our clients. We have worked with startup, emerging, and mature fund managers, so we know the specific challenges that each face in developing strategic growth plans.
Lauren Savino, CFA, CAIA
Lauren Savino has spent over a decade implementing strategic growth plans for alternative investment managers. Lauren spent seven years in-house at a Chicago based hedge fund where she spearheaded strategic growth plans that led to an increase of over $1billion in assets under management. Over her tenure, she oversaw marketing, business development, product development, and strategic business planning. In early 2018, Lauren founded The Savino Group. In her role, she advises alternative asset managers on strategic growth plans and marketing operations. Her clients have spanned hedge funds, private equity, and private real estate.
Lauren holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Illinois, is a CFA and CAIA Charterholder, has a Post Baccalaureate Certificate in Finance from Northwestern University and holds the Harrison Assessment accreditation. She is a prior board member and current community committee chair of Women Investment Professionals. Lauren is also an active member of 100 Women in Finance, CFA Society Chicago, and CAIA Chicago Chapter.
In her personal time, Lauren is a passionate skier, traveler, and philanthropist. She calls Chicago home most of the year, but spends winters in Jay Peak, VT where she regularly skis the backcountry before starting the workday. Lauren’s philanthropic efforts focus on education. She actively supports Room to Read and Invest in Girls.
